Park Acoustics is firmly established as Pretoria’s primary, regular must-attend one-day music festival. This November, they’re putting on a special Saturday end-of-year event on the 26th, featuring the usual music and comedy stages, but also the Griet 8th Birthday Stage and Bobbejaan Street Theatre in the evening, and a Movember Silent Disco. BONUS: We’re giving away a set of tickets (see below).

There’s 3 different genres (Disco, House, and Hip Hop) playing at the same time, you can switch between them while you’re dancing with your headphones. The line up includes Soosh, Half ‘n Half, Bongani Zulu, Lil’ bow, Craig White and Morrison Taylor.
They’re working on a donation system to join the boogie – any amount is welcome, with all the proceeds going to Movember Foundation.

26th November 1941 – Japanese task forces mobilise for attack on Pearl Harbour. This attack led directly to the American entry into World War II resulting in the casualties of 60 million people worldwide.
26th November 1910 – The cornerstone of the Union Buildings is laid in Pretoria. Housing the seat of government in SA, this historic landmark has borne witness to nation changing events which paved the way to the democratic nation we live in today.
26th November 2016 – Park Acoustics, celebrating the freedom of war and struggle we enjoy today under sunny South African skies. Friends, great vibes and music from the Southern Comfort Music Stage!
